Southwest Bikes was founded by two Las Vegas long term mountain bike partners and friends Phillip Watford and William (Rocky) Heidt. We often discussed our passion for the sport while riding the local trails around Las Vegas. This is where the idea for Southwest Bikes was born, on the trail. We left a little blood, sweat and tears there.

Currently, Rocky is still at it here at Southwest Bikes, Phil has moved on but we are fortunate to Have Ted Jewell take Phils place. Ted is an avid Mountain Biker and is a friendly addition to Southwest Bikes.

Southwest Bikes offers premium service, bikes, gear, group rides, bike rentals, and so much more.

Silly name for a Full Service Bicycle shop located in the Northwest portion of Las Vegas, isn’t it? Well, we ride throughout the Desert Southwest. Las Vegas is in the Desert Southwest portion of the U.S. and if we are fortunate to expand it will probably be in the Desert Southwest. And if we put a store in Northern Michigan, it will really give people something to talk about.
